Last weekend, I had a family gathering in a cosy restaurant , PULAU DUA Senayan (before well known with the Taman Ria) which located in town of Jakarta...around this restaurant, there is a small lake, beautiful trees, fish and you can also seat outside with a live band in the evening.....cool, natural and enjoyable....

wow kangen...........salah satu resto pav aku neh.....tempatnya cozy, makanan nya asyik.........aku suka gurame gorengnya juga gariiingg........and tom yam nya asyik lho aku suka banged....

Great pictures of this beautiful garden Janine. I'm surprized to see this nature in a really big and crowded metropole Jakarta. It must have been a very happy time for you with your family.

Are they for decoration or consomation ? They are "golden fish" right? and not Gurame fish ?

oooooh thats all ikan mas or may be koi...and mostly are big, but I think not so good for eat...they make it special big just for decoration...thanks Ika for your kind attention..I think you miss this all ya....

my son is 22 years old....well, since born he already look very blond because his skin and hair...my mother has the blood from german woman who used to live in Ternate around 18's century...but we lost the anchestor..

oh this is the favorite in the restaurant...they called cumi goreng tepung and crispy...oh yes, with sambal terasi lebih enak lagi.

Looking sudah kenyang and happy enjoy with family because all the family happy too...because before my brothers asked me to find a restaurant and suddenly I remember this restaurant which long time not come there and when I come there, oh its surprised me because so many changes and it become really nice for a gathering...

oh ya tom yamnya juga enak ya....memang sih, kayanya makanan asianya cukup enak, beberapa tahun lalu aku pernah makan yang makanan cinanya dan enak sih.....tapi yang paling nyaman suasananya...bagus buat reunian...apalagi kalau malam hari ada bandnya...thanks commentnya mba Lily...

Thanks Dick for your kind attention and comment....you are right, its really surprised me when I come there and saw how contrast that environment with outside the restaurant....at that time I feel so satisfied because I choosed a good restaurant for all my families to be together and enjoy a little moment...especially the kids, they can play in the park, play ground and they run every where...and for us who just seat also feel so comfortable out side table with a fresh air (not air condition)...that is the happiness we could not count with money or anything else....I think you also had so many wonderful moment with your lovely family...

Hulo Upi, thanks for your nice comments here...ya we enjoy that time because of my father birthday of 78 years....he want all his grandchildren can be together...ya, he dont want to miss any moment in his life now....well, thats an old people way of thinking because they feel already close with the last day...

Thanks Upi for your compliment...well he is busy with his group band (always perform and practise) and also his study...but we still met everyday in the evening or morning...he still study for 1 year again...he study in art study (design product) at Trisakti Univ.

Yes Upi they are just for decoration...you are right is golden fish or ikan mas or may be there is also a koi fish....and not gurame....

Ya this restaurant is old restaurant, I think you know also...but before the name is different and before like a lembur kuring restaurant....but now they make the restaurant more comfortable and good for a family gathering, rather than go to Puncak...ya at least, in the town we still can have a natural restaurant...boring always eat inside with air condition....thanks again Upi for all your beautiful comment and interest, hope one day we can make reuni in this restaurant ya...have a nice day and always take care Upi...

so one of your secret tipp ya? Hmm, worth to try! Btw, how about the price-class? How much does the Gurame with lalap cost? N the calamari?

ooooooh you like to try it one day...well I recommend it 100% Ika....the price standard, not so expensive but worthed with the taste...the gurame is around 30 thousand (half kg)...and the calamari also the same..in comparing with hotel price, oh this is still cheaper.....ok, try it ya one day Ika...

Halo Silvy, senang kita jumpa lagi...oh ya memang menarik restauran ini, tapi kurasa sekarang sudah lebih nyaman, lebih tertata rapi, lebih bagus fasilitasnya...enaknya ini tempat yang di tengah kota kan tapi suasananya kaya di luar kota aja dan makanannya juga enak....thanks ya for sharing opinion Silvy....

Ic... From my experiences, eating the real Indo food, the 'standard' or low class restos serve better food (in taste of course) than the high calss one- except for sea food. I dont mind hanging around at Lapo with those taxi drivers enjoying the lunch together :D
